Worked in Essar Steel India Ltd,  later in ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AMNS India) in various capacities like Rolling mill project engineer, Automation engineer, Process technology specialist,  Executive assistant to CEO,  Head of quality control of rolling mills and caster.  Superannuated after a 10-year stint as Head of Research and Development, AMNS India. Key areas of interest include new steel grade development, computer modelling and process improvement in areas like beneficiation, iron and steel making.  and business process change management.

Have 5 patents in the process improvements and have 9 publications.
