Worked for over 40 years in steel and rubber industry having been associated with Usha Martin Limited as GM-Engineering and later as VP-Manufacturing & Project Head of steel wire & wire rope division. Subsequently worked as Sr. V.P—Plant & Project of Wire Rope, Conveyor Cord, Bright Bar & Machinery Divan. and also involved in various expansion projects & green field project of Oil tempered wire in Ranchi in collaboration with an Austrian company, M/s Joe Peng. Was involved in various capacities in Bright Bar, Steel Division, Blast Furnace, DRI, Captive Power Plant, Sinter Plant etc. Worked in Dunlop India Ltd & Tyre Corporation Of India Ltd since 1977 to 1998 as GM-Tyres ( Plant Head) of Tyre Division of Dunlop Sahaganj works in West Bengal having experience of running a complete Tyre plant including Aero & OTR Tyres with utility services like Boiler & its accessories, Refrigeration plant, Air compressors, QA & QC, expansion –cum-modernization project in Tyre Division. In Tyre Corporation worked as Engineering Head, Project Head and finally Plant Head from 1989 to 1993 having completed Rs. 102 crores expansion cum modernization project of automotive tyre plant of TCIL at Kankinara.
