During tenure of 40 years’ in Steel Industry, worked in various fields like Industrial Engineering, Maintenance, Marketing, Sales, Projects, Project Purchase, Commercial, Industrial Relations, HR etc. Have worked closely with major Financial Institutions for detailed project report preparation and obtaining project financial approval. As Project commercial head of Usha martin Industries, an approx. Rs 3200 crs. company engaged in special steel &, wire production having 7 factories throughout the world and is the second largest wire ropes producer in the world, was responsible for ordering of capital items worth over Rs.9000 crores. In addition, worked as Factory Manager and was management representative for TQM activities in Steel Plant. Have visited large number of steel plants in Europe, Japan and China to gain experience on new technologies. Was Sr. Vice president (projects) while leaving the company in 2011.
