As cast material is hot worked into various shapes and sizes as per customers’ specifications in a rolling mill. These mills are described as blooming mills, plate mills, wire rod mills, bar & rod mills , sectional mills , etc. as per the final shape the mill produces as well an operation to “rough down” to an intermediate size/section.
Some mills are also Cold Rolling Mills where the steel is cold deformed to final shape.
