The company  was established in the year 2011 as an Engineering and Management Consultancy company by a team of highly experienced professionals, having credential & hands on experience in successfully building and operating steel plants, thus acquiring tremendous experience in the fields of Project Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, Turn Around of Plants, Quality Management, Sourcing,  Training etc.

The team members  of Metalist have been associated with companies like SAIL, Heavy Engineering Corporation , Usha Martin, Ispat, Siemens, Sunflag, Kalyani etc. holding key positions in these companies. Their exposure ranges from Mines to Market and downstream facilities. The team members also have wide exposure to international steelmaking facilities, foreign based projects in UK, Dubai, Thailand, Nigeria etc. and latest technology and equipment available in the business. Metalist is also very well supported by highly experienced associate engineering companies and speciaists from diverse fields.

Tata Consulting Engineers (TCE) was conferred with the Bentley’s 2015 Be Inspired Award for “Innovation in Land Development” . The award was presented at The Year in Infrastructure 2015 Conference held by Bentley in London. 18 Be Inspired Awards winners and five Be Inspired
Special Recognition Awards winners were acknowledged at the event. The awards acknowledges the outstanding contribution to infrastructure by Bentley users. The winners were chosen from over 360 submissions by organizations in 66 countries

TCE receives Tata Engage awards at the Tata Sustainability Conclave 2016

Tata Consulting Engineers Limited received recognition at the TATA SUSTAINABILITY CONCLAVE 2016 held at Hyderabad for its participation in Tata Engage Volunteering Week III, a group level volunteering program. With 1013 volunteers, 69 programs and a reach of twenty-four thousand people on Facebook, TCE volunteers from across locations displayed enthusiasm in engaging and contributing to the society.TCE received awards in three categories: Best Internal Campaign – wherein mailers, word-of-mouth & social media was used to encourage participation and drive visibility; Most Unique Collaboration – for joining other group companies for raising awareness about Swachh Bharat through skit and flash-mob at Mumbai’s Churchgate station; and the Largest Collaboration – the single largest collaborating team comprised of TCE volunteers.

Tata Consulting Engineers Limited qualifies for Quality Council of India/ NABET accreditation for EIA – 9 Jan 2013 Quality Council of India/ NABET has accredited TCE to do EIA for following sector – Thermal power plant, Chemical Fertilizer, Ferrous Metallurgical Industries, Common Municipal Solid Waste Management Facility, Building & Construction Project, Township and Area Development, Mining & Minerals Opencast Category B projects, Port, Harbours, Jetties, Marine Terminal, Break Water & Dredging. TCE is also in the process of qualifying for accreditation in more sectors.
